From the evening of January 15 until the morning of January 16, Russian forces shelled Nikopol and its vicinity. A woman was killed and a man was injured in the district center, as reported by "Vідомо," citing the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak.
Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrova, and Pokrovsk communities trembled from the strikes of Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launchers, heavy artillery, and drones.
In Nikopol, around thirty private homes were damaged, with one completely destroyed. An outbuilding was obliterated, and about fifteen others were damaged. Additionally, six garages and seven vehicles were wrecked. Five apartment buildings were also shattered. Gas pipelines and power lines were affected.
Destruction has also occurred at industrial facilities.
In the Pokrovsk community, infrastructure has been damaged. Fortunately, the people are unharmed.
During the night, Vostok military units shot down three drones in the area.
