In the city of Samara (formerly Novomoskovsk), the "101" emergency service received a report of a fire in a residential building on Lugovaya Street. Fire crews were dispatched to the specified address. Upon arrival at the scene, rescuers found a large fire engulfing the roof and ceilings of a private house, covering an area of 90 square meters. This information was reported by "Vidomo," citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The flames spread at an alarming rate, consuming wooden structures and creating thick, acrid smoke. The situation was exacerbated by strong winds that aided in the rapid spread of the fire.
According to preliminary data, the fire started in the attic of the building. The exact cause of the blaze is still being determined by fire technical experts.
Rescue operations were carried out under challenging conditions. The fire was managed and extinguished, preventing it from spreading to neighboring buildings.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
