Unity Day in Dnipro: a modest ceremony at the Alley of Heroes (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

On Wednesday, January 22, in Dnipro, a memorial was held for the fallen soldiers on the Alley of Heroes in honor of the Day of Unity. Representatives from regional and local authorities, as well as military leaders and clergy, laid flowers at the stelae bearing the photographs of the deceased warriors, as reported by "Vidomo".

The official event was modest, lacking a large crowd. The proceedings were traditional, consisting of the laying of flowers and brief speeches. It was emphasized that today, as Ukraine faces extremely challenging conditions and defends its independence at the cost of its citizens' lives, it is crucial to maintain unity, support the army, and simultaneously bolster the economy for the common goal of victory.

Throughout the day, various events will be held across the city to commemorate the national holiday.
