A court has issued an arrest warrant for the President of South Korea.
Today, a court session was held regarding the case of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol. He is involved in a case concerning the organization of a rebellion and abuse of power. As a result of the hearing, the court issued an arrest warrant for the president, according to Orda.kz, citing the South Korean news agency Yonhap.

“The Anti-Corruption Investigation Agency plans to hand over Yoon to the prosecution for custody in 10 days. Subsequently, the prosecution is expected to conduct further investigations and file charges against him before the 20-day deadline,” writes Yonhap.
The President of South Korea attempted to impose martial law in the country in early December, after which the parliament accused him of attempting a coup and announced impeachment. He was arrested on the second attempt.
