"We had several contacts at the level of his special envoy – both [the U.S. President's Special Envoy for Ukraine] Keith Kellogg and [the national security advisor to newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump] Mike Waltz. The Vice President also had contact with my chief advisor, the head of my Office [Andriy Yermak]. There have been some contacts. They were quite good, but still, it was all about general matters," said Zelensky.
According to him, more detailed agreements could be made between him and U.S. President Donald Trump, and more work needs to be done on that.
Zelensky also added that Trump is currently more focused on domestic issues in the U.S., as he promised his voters.
