"Today, there is a new decision from Britain regarding sanctions against the 'shadow tanker fleet'. 30 tankers have been sanctioned. This is an important step. It would be right for European partners – at the level of the entire EU – as well as other partners to support such sanctions," said the President of Ukraine.
According to him, "the less Russia benefits from oil revenues, the less capability it will have to wage war."
"This is an obvious connection. A connection that must work for the sake of real peace," notes Zelensky.
He also considers it essential for the international community to respond to the shelling of Ukrainian cities by Russian occupiers. The President emphasized that only on November 25, the enemy struck Kharkiv (reportedly from the S-400 air defense system, leaving 25 people injured) and Odesa (as a result of a strike from a Iskander-M ballistic missile, 11 people were wounded).
"All those affected have received the necessary assistance. I am grateful to everyone who is helping. We will definitely respond to Russia for everything it does. And it is important that such strikes, each one of them, do not go unanswered, not just by us. There should not even be a hint of normalizing Russian terror – of getting used to it," declared Zelensky.
