The President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed the law on the state budget for 2025.

The budget revenues for 2025 are projected at 2.05 trillion hryvnias, while expenditures will reach a record 3.6 trillion hryvnias.
The budget's priority will be security and defense, allocating 2.2 trillion hryvnias: military salaries – 1.16 trillion, armament and military equipment – 739 billion, modernization of the defense industry – 55.1 billion, and drone purchases – 46.9 billion.
A total of 420.9 billion hryvnias will be directed toward social protection (including 236.9 billion for pension payments), 217 billion for healthcare (175.5 billion for the medical guarantees program), and 199 billion for education (including 115.2 billion for teachers' salaries and bonuses, and 2.9 billion for meals for primary school students).
The budget includes a GDP growth forecast of 2.7% and inflation of 9.5%. The projected average annual exchange rate of the dollar will be 45 hryvnias. The minimum wage will also be frozen at 8,000 hryvnias.
