In Telegram, the office of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea reported that Kurishko joined their team in December 2021, taking the lead of the legal support department. In this role, she worked on strategic and program documents related to the reintegration of the peninsula.
Kurishko also participated in the development of legal acts aimed at protecting the rights of Crimeans, the office added.
"In her new position, Olga Kurishko, along with the team of the office, will continue to implement the initiatives already underway and will work on strengthening the agency in its key mission – the de-occupation of Crimea, the protection of its residents' rights, the indigenous peoples of Ukraine, and supporting reintegration processes," the statement said.
