Зеленский лишил государственных наград 34 человек – бывших чиновников, нардепов, руководителей СБУ и Генпрокуратуры, прокуроров, артистов, российских политических, религиозных и культурных деятелей.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree implementing the NSDC's decision to strip state awards from traitors of Ukraine. The initial list includes 34 individuals.

The decree has been published on the OPU website.

Among those permanently deprived of awards are former officials, members of parliament, heads of the Security Service and the Prosecutor General's Office, prosecutors, artists, and Russian political, religious, and cultural figures.

The following individuals have been stripped of state awards:

  • Nikolai Azarov (Orders of "For Merit" I-III classes and Prince Yaroslav the Wise V class, title "Honored Economist of Ukraine");
  • Evgeny Balitsky;
  • Alexander Batalin;
  • Vladimir Bortko;
  • Valery Georgiev;
  • Boris Gryzlov;
  • Vladimir Gundyaev (Patriarch Kirill was awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise I class);
  • Andrey Derkach (Order of "For Merit" III class);
  • Vitaly Zakharchenko;
  • Taras Kozak;
  • Valentina Matviyenko;
  • Viktor Medvedchuk (Orders of "For Merit" I-III classes and Prince Yaroslav the Wise V class, title "Honored Lawyer of Ukraine");
  • Viktor Pshonka (Order of "For Merit" III class);
  • Anatoly Serdyukov;
  • Vladimir Spivakov;
  • Dmitry Tabachnik (Orders of Prince Yaroslav the Wise IV-V classes and title "Honored Figure of Science and Technology");
  • Anatoly Tymoshchuk;
  • Oleg Tsarev;
  • Alexander Yefremov (Orders of "For Merit" I-III classes and Prince Yaroslav the Wise V class);
  • Vitaly Zakharchenko;
  • Vadim Kolesnichenko;
  • Renat Kuzmin (Orders of "For Merit" II-III classes and title "Honored Lawyer of Ukraine");
  • Konstantin Kulik;
  • Valentin Landik;
  • Vladimir Oleinik;
  • Vadim Rabinovich;
  • Sergey Tulub;
  • Alexander Yakimenko.

Additionally, the honorary title of "People's Artist of Ukraine" has been revoked from Russian singers Nikolai Baskov, Philip Kirkorov, Alexander Malinin, Russian composer Igor Krutoy, as well as singers Karolina Kuek (Ani Lorak) and Taissia Povaliy, who have also lost the title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine".

It is worth noting that on November 20, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on stripping state awards for promoting or propagandizing the aggressor state or committing other illegal acts against Ukraine.

Yesterday, Zelensky signed it.
