According to Rubio, Washington is altering its economic relationships with its closest neighbors, which American President Donald Trump deems unfair; however, there is no discussion about Canada joining the U.S.
"I think right now we are focused on what is a priority for us, namely tariffs. This will obviously impact our relations with them. We are still neighbors. We will always be neighbors," emphasized the Secretary of State.
