"The war becomes increasingly brutal with each passing day. It leaves almost no chance for survival. However, the war will fear those who are ready to join it," said Zaluzhny.
He urged fighters to "learn not to fear death" and not to shy away from looking the enemy in the eye. At the same time, the former commander-in-chief considers it crucial for soldiers to know how to take care of themselves and survive in the most challenging conditions of war while looking after their comrades.
Zaluzhny emphasized that fulfilling assigned tasks is mandatory for military personnel.
"This will require killing. Killing without hesitation, seeing the enemy. Kill him first, before he tries to kill you or your comrade. Please learn this here," he urged. "Love each other. And remember Ukraine. If you are gone, perhaps someone else will take your place. But Ukraine must be preserved. Our children, our women, our parents must live in peace, no matter the cost. Ukraine is our only one. And we will definitely win. Together."
The UK Deputy Defense Minister, Luke Pollard, who visited the base alongside Zaluzhny, noted that 50,000 Ukrainian soldiers have already gone through Interflex. According to him, each such soldier is a "message to [illegitimate president of Russia Vladimir] Putin."
Zaluzhny posted a photo of his visit to the British training ground on Facebook.
