The High Anti-Corruption Court did not arrest the MP suspected of orchestrating a theft scheme at "Ukrzaliznytsia." He vowed to attend court "honorably."

The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine has declined to place independent MP Viktor Bondar in custody, who is suspected of involvement in abuses at "Ukrzaliznytsia." The court session held on January 24 was broadcast on YouTube by the Anti-Corruption Court.

The investigative judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court, Vladimir Voronko, released Bondar on bail set at 100 million UAH, which must be paid within five days.

Additionally, the court imposed several obligations on the deputy. In particular, Bondar is required to surrender his foreign passports and must not leave Kyiv and the Kyiv region without the permission of the investigator or the court.

During the hearing at the High Anti-Corruption Court, the MP promised to "diligently" attend all court sessions.
