The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has announced when the draft law regarding the conditions for demobilization will be ready.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense aims to finalize the draft law regarding the procedures and conditions for military discharges by December 18. This was announced on November 14 by Roman Kostenko, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament's Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, and a representative of the "Golos" party, in a comment to "Ukrainska Pravda."

"The committee has made an official inquiry to the Ministry of Defense regarding the development of a draft law that would define the procedures and conditions for the dismissal of certain categories of military personnel during a state of war," Kostenko reported. "Recently, we received a response stating that, according to the Ministry of Defense's plan, the draft law will be prepared by the deadline set by parliament – by December 18, 2024."
According to the parliamentarian, it is still unclear what mechanisms for dismissing military personnel will be proposed by the defense ministry.
