The information that employees of the embassies of the USA, UK, France, Germany, as well as representatives from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Scandinavian countries have left Ukraine is not true.
This was reported to the CPD by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“All staff of foreign diplomatic missions continue to fulfill their duties on the ground,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
The Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized that the aim of such fake news is to instill panic among Ukrainians. The agency once again urges citizens to rely only on verified sources of information.
We remind you that recently the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied claims about Ukraine developing nuclear weapons. They stated that Ukraine fully complies with the provisions of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) and has no plans to develop them.
Furthermore, on Friday, November 22, the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted reports of the presence of North Korean troops in Kharkiv region. The military stated that this information is not accurate.
