The Russian army launched an attack on Ukraine on the night of January 27, deploying 104 strike drones from Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Cape Chauda in occupied Crimea.
This information was reported by the Air Forces.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 9 AM, the military confirms the downing of 57 Russian drones in Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
Additionally, 39 enemy imitation drones were lost to radar detection (without negative consequences).
