The government has approved the presidential program to provide Ukrainians with 1,000 hryvnias. The Ministry of Economic Development has detailed everything you need to know about receiving the funds.
According to the ministry, the state assistance under the winter "e-Support" program is a one-time payment. It will be available for Ukrainians residing in Ukraine, including children.
The program will be operational from December 2024 to February 2025. You can receive 1,000 hryvnias through the "Diia" app and the "National Cashback" card. To do this, you need to:
open a "National Cashback" card if you do not have one yet. It can be opened at one of the partner banks of the program: PrivatBank, monobank, Raiffeisen Bank, Ukrgasbank, Sense Bank, PUMB, Abank, Bank Globus, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, Sberbank, Akkordbank, Bank Credit Dnipro, Clearing House Radobank.
activate the "National Cashback" card in the "Services" section of "Diia". Then select the "Winter e-Support" service in the app and submit an application for assistance. Wait for the funds to be credited.
You can spend the 1,000 hryvnias on medicines, utility bills, purchasing books, transport fares, or donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The opening and maintenance of the "National Cashback" card is free. There will be no taxes on the received 1,000 hryvnias.
How to receive assistance for pensioners and people with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups:
- through Ukrposhta. The list of those who can receive assistance via Ukrposhta is compiled by the Ministry of Social Policy. Those included in the list for receiving funds through Ukrposhta cannot apply through "Diia".
The Ministry of Economic Development added that the program will be funded from the remaining unused funds of the state budget not designated for military purposes.
Recall that in October, President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the government to launch the "eSupport" program starting December 1, which provides for payments of 1,000 hryvnias to every citizen.
Meanwhile, fraudulent links related to the "eSupport" program have begun circulating on social media, promising Ukrainians quick payouts of 1,000 hryvnias. However, this is a scam.
