The Central Election Commission of Belarus has announced that Lukashenko has won the presidential elections.

According to preliminary information, the illegitimate leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has reportedly won the presidential elections for the seventh time, securing 86.82% of the votes. This was announced by Igor Karpenko, the chairman of the Central Election Commission of the republic, as reported by the state propaganda agency BELTA.

Last night, the Central Election Commission published the final data on the number of votes cast for each candidate:

  • Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus, Oleg Gaydukevich – 2.02%;
  • Entrepreneur Anna Kanopatskaya – 1.86%;
  • Lukashenko – 86.82%;
  • First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, Sergey Siranok – 3.21%;
  • Chairman of the Republican Party of Labor and Justice, Alexander Khizhnyak – 1.74%;
  • Against all – 3.60%.

In the evening, exit polls, according to state media, indicated Lukashenko's support from 87.6% of voters.
