The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) reminded that on November 14, a member of parliament was notified of suspicion.
"Law enforcement officials exposed the deputy for causing harm to the defense capability and information security of Ukraine. The deputy is suspected of committing treason," the statement said.
The member of parliament faces a penalty of up to 15 years of imprisonment with property confiscation, the SBI added.
As seen in the photo published by the SBI, the individual in question is MP Yevhen Shevchenko (from the "Restoration of Ukraine" group). He was notified the day before about the suspicion of treason.
