Later, she posted a photo from Kyiv's train station. The President of Moldova announced negotiations with her Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky.
"We will discuss issues related to security, energy, infrastructure, trade, and mutual support on the path to the European Union. Moldova remains a reliable neighbor," she wrote.
Zelensky later shared on Facebook about the negotiations themselves. According to him, the situation in Moldova is currently "serious," and it can only be rectified "together."
"In particular, in energy and many social issues that are being used by our common enemy against the interests not only of Moldova but of our entire region. The absence of crises in Moldova is, in particular, our security. We must work together, support each other, and find common solutions that can help people," the head of state concluded.
