War crimes of the Russians: how many executions of Ukrainian soldiers have been documented by the UNThe infographic shows how many executions of Ukrainian prisoners of war have been documented by the occupiers in the UN.

“In the video, the occupiers recorded their own crime — the shooting in the back of six captured Ukrainian soldiers. The video ends with a seventh soldier lying on the ground, his fate unknown. Each execution of the captured soldiers occurs in front of their comrades. Meanwhile, the occupiers command them to ‘lie down and shut up,’ while the ‘operator’ of the crime states, ‘One — mine,’ before shooting multiple rounds into the back of one of the prisoners,” Lubinets explained.

Ukraine will send information about this war crime to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Ombudsman reported.

The Office of the Prosecutor General stated that the incident took place in the Donetsk region: “According to preliminary data, during the assault on the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the Donetsk region, the occupiers captured six servicemen of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and subsequently executed them.”

Law enforcement agencies have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings regarding the military crime that resulted in loss of life (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Recall that on January 3, in the Volnovakha district, the occupiers executed two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who had been captured.

At the end of December, the Russians executed four fighters from the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade at the Vremivka direction.

As of mid-December, 177 cases of the execution of Ukrainian prisoners of war had been confirmed.
