"The focus is primarily on energy, on protecting our energy system. The Russians remain committed to their goal of destroying Ukrainian energy, consistently launching strikes and adapting their attacks to exploit our defense capabilities, making it more difficult to intercept," said Zelensky.
He expressed gratitude to all those involved in safeguarding the country's airspace, particularly the developers of electronic warfare (EW) systems and mobile fire groups.
"This is a constant and rapid evolution of electronic warfare tools. We must be much quicker in this regard," emphasized the President of Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, the meeting included reports on the defense system, the protection of energy facilities, and their restoration after attacks.
"We specifically discussed air defense capabilities and the need for anti-missiles—there are new tasks for our diplomacy and for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in working with partners. Supplies for Ukraine's air defense are critical and must not cease. We must constantly seek ways to enhance protection globally, increase the production of essential items in Ukraine, and expand localization of production, as well as obtain licenses from our partners. This is a significant effort that largely determines Ukraine's future," he stated.
