"We are working to achieve a peaceful agreement between Russia and Ukraine. Thousands have died during this military campaign. Millions of Ukrainians and millions of Russians are suffering. No one has seen anything like this since World War II," said Trump.
He emphasized that efforts to ensure a peaceful resolution between Russia and Ukraine are already underway and that it is crucial to accomplish this.
The U.S. president did not disclose details of the possible agreement.
