He mentioned that several strikes with ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles have already been carried out across Russia. In the Kursk region, one of the command posts of the "North" group was hit.

"As a result of the attack and air defense combat, there are, unfortunately, casualties, fatalities, and injuries among the personnel of the external security units of the facility," Putin stated.

He also claims that Ukraine did not achieve its objectives and that the command and operational staff of the command post allegedly remained unharmed.

Recall that on November 17, U.S. President Joe Biden authorized Ukraine to use long-range ATACMS missiles against Russian territory for the first time. Later, the media reported that on the 1000th day of the war, Ukraine struck Russian territory using eight American ATACMS missiles.

Additionally, it was reported yesterday that Ukraine used Storm Shadow for strikes on Russian territory for the first time.
