The Cabinet of Ministers approved payments for military personnel participating in combat operations on enemy territory during the meeting on November 15.
This was reported in Telegram by the government representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
From now on, Ukrainian soldiers carrying out combat tasks in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation will receive the same additional payments as those on the front lines in Ukraine.
This means that military personnel involved in the Kursk operation, as well as police officers and representatives of the State Emergency Service, will be able to receive a monthly bonus of 100,000 UAH proportional to the duration of their participation, plus an additional 70,000 UAH for every 30 days of completing assignments.
The right to receive these funds remains in effect during inpatient treatment or leave following a serious injury.
"It is also stipulated that in the event of the death of individuals performing military duties on the territory of the aggressor state... family members will receive a one-time financial aid of 15 million UAH," Melnychuk added.
It is worth noting that it was recently reported that the Russian command gathered 50,000 soldiers, including troops from North Korea, for a counteroffensive in the Kursk region. According to media sources, Russian leader Vladimir Putin ordered the return of the Kursk region before Donald Trump's inauguration.
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, outlined the current tasks for the Armed Forces fighters in the Kursk region.
