In an interview with "Ukrainian Radio," published on November 16 on the "Zelensky! President" YouTube channel, Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine is an "independent country." This was his response to a question about whether Trump had demanded Ukraine engage in negotiations with the aggressor nation, Russia.
"It seems to me that during this war – our people and I personally in negotiations with the U.S., with Trump, and with [U.S. President Joe] Biden, and with European leaders – we have proven that the rhetoric of 'Sit down and listen' does not work with us," Zelensky stated. "And this is not because we are like this, but because we should treat any country, any people, any leader with respect in principle."
Musk shared a clip from Zelensky's interview on X.
"His sense of humor is amazing," commented the billionaire and Trump supporter, adding a smiley face.
