Lviv border guard representative Svitlana Burda told Suspilne that the protest is expected to last 48 hours, with a possibility of extension. Protesters will allow buses and passenger cars to pass in both directions, while trucks will face movement restrictions.

At the entry point into Ukraine, Polish farmers plan to allow one truck per hour. Trucks weighing over 3.5 tons will be blocked from exiting Ukraine.

It is worth noting that since November 2023 and until the summer of 2024, Polish farmers intermittently blocked border crossings with Ukraine. The longest protest ended on April 29. However, during the summer, Polish farmers made several attempts to resume the blockade.
