Panama has filed a complaint with the UN over Trump's threats to seize the Panama Canal, according to Le Figaro.
The Permanent Mission of Panama to the UN has submitted a complaint to the organization in response to the plans of the new U.S. President Donald Trump to exert control over the Panama Canal, as reported by Le Figaro on January 22.

According to the newspaper, in a letter addressed to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Panama expressed concern over Trump's inaugural speech, in which he stated his intention to seize the Panama Canal.
