The USAID office in Ukraine has been ordered to suspend funding for all projects, according to media reports.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ukraine has been instructed to suspend all projects and related expenses. This was reported on January 26 by "Suspline," citing an employee from the USAID office in Kyiv.
СМИ сообщают, что офис USAID в Украине получил указание о приостановке финансирования всех проектов.

This occurred following the U.S. State Department's directive to suspend aid programs to other countries for 90 days for auditing purposes.

According to a source from the publication, staff members currently do not have detailed instructions on how the directive will be implemented or whether there will be exceptions.

It is also reported that Ukrainian organizations are receiving letters about the need to halt activities funded by USAID or organizations dependent on American financing. In particular, co-founder of Veteran Hub Ivona Kostina stated on Facebook that the organization is forced to close the Veterans Support Line and the Hub in Vinnytsia. She urged businesses to support the project.
