On the night of November 23, a powerful explosion occurred near the temporarily occupied port of Berdyansk.
This was reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Pyotr Andryushchenko, via Telegram.
He mentioned that the explosion was heard around 11:38 PM. Following this, "there was a glow and signs of a fire" in the port area.
Andryushchenko added that a burnt smell was noticeable in Berdyansk as a result. He also pointed out that the Ministry of Defense of the occupying country has not provided any information regarding the incident.
Later, the Gauleiter of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balitsky, acknowledged that an attack had been carried out on the Berdyansk port.
According to him, the fire sources have allegedly been extinguished, and the missile attack "did not affect the port's operational capabilities."
Recall that on November 21, explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. Russian occupiers reported on air defense operations against missiles, particularly "Neptune."
It was also reported that the enemy intensified counter-diversion measures in the occupied Berdyansk.
