The government of the Netherlands has provided the Ukrainian Armed Forces with three Patriot air defense launchers.
This was announced by the country's Minister of Defense, Ruben Brekelmans, on the social media platform X.
He noted that Ukraine is facing a harsh winter, as Russia's destructive air strikes on Ukrainian energy infrastructure continue.
"Therefore, we have delivered three Patriot launchers. This will save lives and protect vital infrastructure," the official wrote.
Brekelmans also added that the cessation of Russian aggression has been and remains "our common interest."
It is worth mentioning that it was recently reported that the government of Taiwan might transfer a large batch of Hawk air defense systems to Ukraine.
Additionally, it is known that Ukraine and the United States are in negotiations regarding the supply of air defense systems capable of intercepting intercontinental ballistic missiles.
