The Defense Ministry has appealed the reinstatement of Bezrukova as director of AOZ in the state registry, seeking to reinstate Zhumadilov instead.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has reported that on January 30, it received a complaint from the Ministry of Defense regarding the reinstatement of Marina Bezrukova as the director of the Defense Procurement Agency in the state registry. This occurred after she was removed from her position by a decision from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who temporarily appointed Arsen Jumadilov, the director of the State Logistics Operator, to take her place.
Минобороны оспорило восстановление Безруковой в госреестре как директора АОЗ и стремится вернуть Жумадилова на его место.

"The Collegium for the Review of Complaints in the Area of State Registration at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine has received a complaint from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine regarding the appeal of the decision made by private notary Ivashchenko N.V. on January 29, 2025, concerning amendments to the information about the head of the state enterprise 'Defense Procurement Agency,'” the message states.

The Ministry of Justice noted that the essence of the complaint lies in the "appeal of the legality" of the change in the head of the DPA from acting director Zhumadilov to Bezrukova, who "was removed from the position of director by the order of the Ministry of Defense due to an ongoing service investigation."

"The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, as the authorized management body of the enterprise, believes that the decision to change the head was made in violation of the requirements of legislation and the charter of the enterprise," the message says.

The Ministry of Justice indicated that they will consider the complaint "in accordance with the procedure established by law."
