On Tuesday, November 19, power outages will occur simultaneously in all regions of Ukraine in one or two waves.
This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
Tomorrow, November 19, the timing and extent of the restrictions will be as follows:
- 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM – one wave of outages;
- 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM – two waves of outages;
- 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM – one wave of outages;
- 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM – two waves of outages;
- 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM – one wave of outages.
As is known, when regional energy companies implement one wave of outage schedules, it results in 4 hours of restrictions per day; two waves lead to 8 hours of restrictions; three waves to 12 hours; and four waves exceed 12 hours of restrictions.
The energy workers noted that the reason for the temporary restrictions is the damage to energy facilities during a massive attack by the Russian army on November 17.
The repair crews are working to mitigate the consequences and restore the damaged equipment as soon as possible.
Recall that on the morning of November 17, Russia attacked energy facilities in Ukraine, leading to emergency power outages. Later, Ukrenergo announced the return of hourly power outage schedules.
