Немецкая компания Helsing готовит для передачи Украине 4 тысяч беспилотников с искусственным интеллектом Mini-Taurus.

German company Helsing is preparing to deliver 4,000 AI-powered drones named “Mini-Taurus” to Ukraine.

This was reported by Bild.

Starting from December of this year, Germany will supply Ukraine with several hundred “Mini-Taurus” drones each month. Currently, Ukrainian soldiers are already testing several units in combat conditions at the front.

The “Mini-Taurus” drones are capable of analyzing terrain and determining locations even in adverse weather conditions or damaged infrastructure. The drone can continue its operations even if it loses radio signal.

The publication states that the flight range is four times greater than that of typical Ukrainian kamikaze drones, though it does not specify which models are being referred to. Additionally, they are significantly cheaper than, for example, the American Switchblade.

Defense Minister Boris Pistorius emphasized that these drones can be used specifically to target Russian command posts.

It is worth noting that the German government will supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the sixth Iris-T air defense system by the end of this year.

Moreover, the country has prepared a new humanitarian aid package for Ukraine amounting to 200 million euros ahead of winter.
