NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met with the elected President of the United States Donald Trump at his residence in Florida.
This was reported by the official NATO website.
The politicians discussed "a number of global security issues facing the Alliance." However, NATO did not specify whether the topic of the war in Ukraine was raised during the discussions.
It is also known that Rutte met with Congressman Mike Waltz, whom Trump intends to appoint as his national security advisor.
Recall that recently elected U.S. President Donald Trump stated that his administration will focus on ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.
The day before, the media revealed Trump's alleged candidate for the position of special representative for the war in Ukraine.
