The European Commission has approved the allocation of 4.1 billion euros to Ukraine under the Ukraine Facility aid program.
This information was shared by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram.
According to him, the European Commission positively assessed the reform process in the country and noted that Ukraine has met the necessary indicators to receive these funds.
Shmyhal added that the government hopes the EU Council will soon approve this decision.
“After this, the total amount of support under the Ukraine Facility for this year will reach 16.1 billion euros,” the Prime Minister wrote.
It should be noted that yesterday it was reported that Ukraine received 1.35 billion dollars in grants from the USA. The funds will be directed to priority programs.
