The Danish government plans to transfer two more batches of American F-16 fighter jets to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was announced by the country's Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, during a press conference in Kyiv.
According to the official, there are currently no changes in the plans for transferring F-16s to Ukraine. It is known that the Ukrainian side has already received six fighter jets. Additionally, pilot training is ongoing.
"It was difficult, but we managed, and the process is continuing. There will be another batch and another batch after that. In total, there will be 19 aircraft," Frederiksen stated.
The Prime Minister also assured that Denmark will remain steadfast in its commitment to provide assistance to Ukraine.
Let us remind you that on Sunday, November 17, F-16 pilots shot down about ten enemy aerial targets during a massive missile attack on Ukraine.
It was also reported that Ukraine is negotiating with allies for the acquisition of two more types of Western fighter jets.
