Chaly believes that Russian authorities aim to include Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions in their constitution.

The aggressor country, Russia, will not halt the war in Ukraine, even if certain agreements for a ceasefire are reached. This was stated by Valeriy Chaly, the head of the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center and Ukraine's ambassador to the U.S. from 2015 to 2019, in an interview with Alena Batsman, the editor-in-chief of "GORDON."
Чалый полагает, что российские власти намерены включить Харьковскую и Днепропетровскую области в свою конституцию.

He noted that Russia is not ready for compromises because it has set a goal to completely destroy Ukraine and ensure its non-existence.

"This involves shaping public opinion, and from what I understand, they desire to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk region and attempt to establish a foothold in Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, with the intention of later incorporating these areas into the Russian constitution, along with Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk," he said.

According to Chaly, Russia is currently trying to implement these intentions. He emphasized that even if Russia incorporates Ukrainian territories into its constitution, it will mean nothing for Ukraine or many other countries around the world.

"But who knows what this will mean for [U.S. President] Donald Trump?" he added.
