On Monday, November 11, President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Supreme Commander’s Staff.
He shared this update on his Telegram channel.
The head of state reported that the participants of the Staff made several important decisions for the country's defense capabilities.
“There is a decision from the Commander-in-Chief to significantly strengthen the complex directions – Kurakhove and Pokrovsk. In the Kharkiv region, our guys continue to hold back an enemy group of nearly 50,000 outside Ukraine,” Zelensky stated.
Additionally, the meeting decided to increase the number of mobile fire groups for air defense in the regions.
“There was a report on a comprehensive program against Russian UAVs. There are promising technological solutions. A report was also made regarding the current state of the Ukrainian missile program, particularly the development of our own guided aerial bombs,” the president added.
Zelensky further noted that the Staff also heard reports on three-year contracts for drone manufacturers and other types of weapons.
Recall that the day before, the president reported on how many drones, aerial bombs, and missiles were used by the Russians against Ukraine between November 4-10.
It was also reported that the president signed laws №12152 and №12151 extending martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine for 90 days – until February 7, 2025.
