Президент Зеленский отреагировал на решение премьер-министра Венгрии Виктора Орбана позвонить российскому диктатору владимиру путину.

President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the decision of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to call the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

A statement on this matter was published on the Telegram channel of the head of state.

How often and when was the last time leaders of allied countries called PutinPutin last communicated with the leader of an allied country at the end of 2022. The infographic details how often allies called Putin before the invasion and when they stopped.

“We all hope that Viktor Orban will not at least call Assad in Moscow to listen to his lengthy lectures,” Zelensky wrote.

The President emphasized that achieving real peace "requires the determination of America, the unity of Europe, and the commitment of all partners to uphold the goals and principles of the UN Charter."

“There is no need to play for one's own image at the expense of unity – we must care for common success. It is precisely unity in Europe that always brings success,” the president stated, adding that discussions about the war against Ukraine cannot occur without Ukraine itself.

Zelensky also expressed gratitude to elected U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders for their intention to “find the right and strong solutions” for the sake of peace.

Recall that the day before, it was stated that the initiator of the conversation was indeed the Prime Minister of Hungary. They claim that the parties discussed economic cooperation between Russia and Hungary, as well as the war in Ukraine.

It is also worth noting that on November 15, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz spoke with Putin for the first time in nearly two years. Zelensky reacted to this conversation.
