The number of casualties from the Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih has risen to 13 individuals.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General via Telegram.
They stated that law enforcement has already initiated a pre-trial investigation into the criminal case regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in loss of life (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
“It is likely that people remain trapped under the rubble of the building. Emergency services and law enforcement officials are on site, documenting yet another war crime by Russia,” the OGP noted.
As a reminder, this afternoon the occupiers launched a ballistic strike on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih. Initially, six people were reported injured, but later the number of victims increased to 11, with one more civilian confirmed dead.
Previously, in December, Russian forces had already struck residential buildings in the city.
