On the night of January 13 to 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched the most extensive strike on military facilities located within the territory of the Russian Federation.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
It was noted that the strikes were conducted at distances ranging from 200 to 1100 kilometers targeting locations in Bryansk, Saratov, Tula regions, and the Republic of Tatarstan.
Among the affected sites is the fuel storage base "Kompleks Kristall" in Engels, Saratov region. A fire that lasted five days following a preliminary attack has recently been extinguished here.
A chemical plant in Selco, Bryansk region, which is a significant component of the enemy's military-industrial complex, was also targeted. This facility manufactures ammunition for artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, aviation, engineering munitions, and components for X-59 cruise missiles. Additionally, two anti-aircraft missile systems, "Tor" and "Buk," were destroyed.
"To accomplish this combat mission, units from the Drone Forces, Special Operations Forces, Missile Troops, Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the Security Service of Ukraine were involved," stated the General Staff.
Furthermore, strategic targets in the Russian Federation were struck, including the Saratov Oil Refinery and the Kazanorgsintez plant. Both facilities suffered fires caused by precise strikes from the GUR and SBU units.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine promised that systematic strikes on critical infrastructure supporting the occupying army's resources would continue until the complete cessation of the Kremlin's military aggression against Ukraine.
Recall that explosions were heard last night in Saratov, Tula, Tambov, Rostov, Oryol, Voronezh, Bryansk, and other regions, as well as in the Republic of Tatarstan. Russian media claimed that "more than 200 drones and other aerial targets" were shot down during the night.
