The United States government has imposed sanctions on over 400 organizations and individuals linked to the Russian Federation.
This information was reported in a statement from the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
The restrictions target 275 individuals and entities across 17 jurisdictions, including India, Switzerland, Thailand, and Turkey. All of them are crucial for the military efforts of the aggressor state.
Additionally, sanctions are being imposed on Chinese companies exporting dual-use goods to the Russian military.
Furthermore, 150 Russian companies operating in defense, technology, and aerospace sectors have also been added to the "blacklist."
"The United States and our allies will continue to take decisive action worldwide to halt the flow of critical tools and technologies that Russia needs to conduct its illegal and immoral war against Ukraine," stated Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Wally Adeyemo.
It is worth noting that recently, the U.S. imposed sanctions on Chinese companies that assisted Russia in producing drones for the war against Ukraine.
It was also reported that the Biden administration introduced new restrictions against the Russian media group "Russia Today" and its director, propagandist Dmitry Kiselev.
