If the trip occurs, Netanyahu will be the first foreign leader to meet with Trump at the White House after his inauguration.

The visit is currently in the planning stages. This week, Trump's special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Vitkoff, will travel to Israel for talks with Netanyahu and other Israeli officials.

Trump hinted at the upcoming visit during a conversation with reporters aboard Air Force One: "I am going to talk to Bibi Netanyahu in the not too distant future."

Netanyahu's spokesperson, Omer Dostri, stated that the Israeli leader has not yet received an official invitation to the White House. However, he indicated that Netanyahu is expected to visit the White House in February.

Recall that earlier, Donald Trump called the ceasefire in Gaza his achievement.

According to media reports, the Trump administration instructed the Pentagon to lift the blockade imposed by Joe Biden on the supply of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel.
