On January 11, Russian forces launched an airstrike on a boarding school in the city of Sudzha, Kursk region. As a result of the attack, a woman was killed.
This was reported by Alexey Dmitrashkovsky, a press officer of the military command in the Kursk region, during a telethon.
It is known that the attack occurred on Saturday, January 11. That evening, Russian aviation struck twice in the vicinity of the boarding school in Sudzha. One woman suffered a laceration to her arm, and she died the morning of January 12. The building of the boarding school was severely damaged, with all windows and doors shattered.
“The question arose as to where to relocate these people. They are all elderly, with many having disabilities, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke conditions, and one individual with a mental illness. So the condition of these individuals is quite serious at this moment,” Dmitrashkovsky explained.
It was previously reported that the Russian occupation army is forced to redeploy parts of its forces to the Kursk region to strengthen its grouping in this direction.
