In Zaporizhzhia, there are already 11 fatalities due to a missile strike by Russian troops. Today, a woman's body was retrieved from the rubble of a destroyed building.
This was reported on Thursday by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, via Telegram.
“Unfortunately, the number of fatalities in Zaporizhzhia has risen to 11. Just now, rescuers retrieved a woman's body from the rubble of a house that was destroyed by an enemy strike on December 10. We held out hope until the last moment, but alas... a Russian missile has claimed the lives of 11 residents of Zaporizhzhia,” Fedorov wrote.
The Office of the Prosecutor General reported that the search and rescue operation has concluded. A total of 11 people have died, and 22 individuals have been injured, including a five-year-old girl.
As a reminder, this morning in Zaporizhzhia, rescuers retrieved the body of the tenth victim of the Russian attack from the rubble. The State Emergency Service also reported 22 injured individuals.
On December 10, Russian military forces launched a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia. As a result, a private clinic was destroyed, and residential buildings were damaged.
By the morning of December 11, there were already reports of 8 fatalities and 22 injuries, among whom was a child.
