The third group of volunteers has signed contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of the Ukrainian Legion program. The ceremony took place at the Ukrainian consulate in Lublin.

It is known that this time several dozen recruits have joined the project. Among the Ukrainians who signed contracts are individuals residing in the USA, Canada, Estonia, Norway, and Germany.

Consul General Oleg Kuts also mentioned that as of today, Ukrainians have submitted more than 1,500 applications to join the Ukrainian Legion.

“We are interested in having volunteers complete three phases of training. After that, we will be able to present the project to our foreign partners and expand it to other countries. This will help speed up the process, as geography and logistics also take time,” he noted.

Let us remind you that in December of last year, it was reported that the first unit of the Ukrainian Legion formed in Poland had already arrived in Ukraine.
