At 07:37, the mayor stated that Russian air defense had allegedly shot down two drones heading for Moscow in the Ramensky urban district. He later announced the destruction of another 10 drones in the urban districts of Ramenskoye, Domodedovo, and Kolomna. By 7:55, he reported that a total of 32 drones had been shot down.
The official did not provide details on the consequences of the attack, while Russian media reported several fires in the Moscow region.
During the defense against the attack, the Moscow airports "Vnukovo" and "Domodedovo" implemented the "Carpet" plan, which is announced when there is a threat to aircraft.
Recall that on the night of November 10, explosions were heard in Bryansk, Russia, after which a fire broke out. A military unit may have been the target.
On the night of November 9, drones attacked a chemical plant in the Russian city of Alexin. The plant's operations were suspended, and employees were evacuated.
