"Another outcome this week. Our special operations forces, specifically Tactical Group No. 84, along with airborne troops captured two soldiers from North Korea. They are alive and have already been transported to Kyiv," the president reported.
Zelensky mentioned that the North Korean soldiers were captured in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
"And it wasn't easy: other North Korean military personnel and Russians are trying to finish off their wounded Koreans – so they don't end up in captivity. Currently, these two are receiving medical assistance and are in contact with SBU investigators," the president added.
According to Zelensky, the Russians are providing North Korean soldiers with their documents, but "no one will be deceived by this."
"It is Russia that is doing everything to continue and expand the war, and they will be held accountable for it," the president of Ukraine concluded.
