According to Trokhymets, on Friday, January 10, the people's deputies registered a resolution for the dismissal of Halushchenko from the position of Minister of Energy, accusing him of corruption.
"It’s hard to categorize me as an advocate or, even more so, a supporter of the Minister of Energy. However, I consider the initiative to dismiss him during the heating season to be a pure adventure," – wrote Trokhymets.
He emphasized that corruption must first be proven in court or at least be investigated by law enforcement agencies.
"Dismissing the minister will lead to a management deadlock in the industry at a time when certain decisions need to be made. I have worked in large organizations, including state ones, and I can responsibly state: if there is no leader, everything will simply come to a standstill. Such are the realities of Ukrainian state governance," – explained Trokhymets.
The expert urged to consider the consequences of dismissing the minister in the midst of the heating season.
"To avoid finding ourselves in ruins and cold homes, before acting on personal grievances through projects for the dismissal of the Minister of Energy during winter, it is necessary to think about the potential consequences that may arise," – concluded Trokhymets.
