Trump is abandoning the pursuit of Putin and Russia for war crimes against Ukraine, according to media reports.

The United States has indicated that it may halt criminal prosecution against the aggressor nation, Russia, for its war crimes in Ukraine. This was reported by The Telegraph on February 21.
СМИ сообщают, что Трамп не намерен преследовать Путина и Россию за военные преступления в Украине.

According to Western officials, representatives from the United States declined to label Russia as an "aggressor" during a meeting of the Core Group member states, which is preparing a potential tribunal for the illegitimate Russian president Vladimir Putin over his war crimes.

Furthermore, the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump refused to sign the G7 communiqué marking the third anniversary of Russia's war against Ukraine, in which Russia was designated as an "aggressor".

Trump also accused Ukraine of allegedly instigating the war and referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as a "dictator", insisting that Russia should be re-invited to the G7.

The Core Group leads a coalition of more than 40 countries focused on establishing a special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. A loss of support from Washington would be a significant blow to the authority and reputation of the group, The Telegraph emphasized.
